To add a sense of depth to the back scene, some simple hills were painted. I mixed some red into the blue emulsion I had used for the sky to form a light purple for the distant hills and some burnt greens for the near hills to match the static grass used. I haven’t added any tree lines to the hills yet.
Happy with this for now, though I suspect I may redo this at some point in the future.
