The model railway room, or shed as it is known, was purpose built in the back garden. Work started in late winter and completed in late spring. I was in by late May. The room is 16ft x 8ft in size (external measurements) and was fully insulated. Power and lighting was installed during the build. Unfortunately, due to budget I compromised on the door and ended up with a door that not only let the weather in, but was not very secure.
